DSC Family,

It has certainly been a challenging and stressful last 6 months; closing out the winter early, wondering what the upcoming winter will look like or if we would even be able to ski or snowboard. As many resorts and companies are now starting to share their winter plans, we wanted you to be assured that we have been very busy working to put together our operating plan in the midst of this global pandemic. I am proud to say that those plans are almost finalized, and that Desert Snow Connection will continue to safely serve our community and riders throughout the upcoming winter season, following the guidelines of our local, state, and federal agencies.

We have been dropping hints over the last few months that something exciting was coming and the day has finally come. I am excited to announce that we will be enhancing our day trip schedule to Arizona Snowbowl this winter. Based on our growth in the last few years and by request of our ridership, we are committed to running 7 days a week throughout January and February. We will potentially continue daily operation through March based on snow conditions and demand. We will begin operations on Opening Day, November 20th and will run through closing day. This year we are offering 2 versions of our Infinite Ride Pass to compliment Snowbowl’s pass options and both options have no blackout dates: The Unlimited Pass, valid any day throughout the season and the Weekday Pass, valid Monday through Friday throughout the season.

Operations will look different this year, with the two largest changes being assigned seating to ensure that we are in compliance with safety and health guidelines and capping ticket sales for each trip aligning with ski areas distancing guidelines. We continue to monitor the pandemic daily and with guidance from local health agencies, we will determine if our out of state trips to Brian Head, Purgatory, Big Bear, and Mammoth will be opened to our riders.

Thank you all for your continued support. Stay safe and stay well.

I look forward to seeing you very soon,
Jose Aguilera
